It is MANDATORY to retain at least 50% of the factory firewall and anything that is replaced must be done so with a minimum of 18-gauge steel or thicker to make the firewall complete from side to side and top to bottom to seal the engine compartment from the driver. Officials have the final decision, so dont remove too much or you will be replacing it before racing, please call first. Floor pans MUST remain stock from frame rail to frame rail and from front firewall to rear firewall. Any filling of gaps or voids to seal the driver from the outside elements must be done so with a minimum of 18-gauge steel or thicker. If arms have been altered for such reasons as pinion angle shortened or lengthened they must be securely welded and cannot be adjustable.
